Michelin X Ice 2's
I just got rid of a 2006 G35X a month ago and got the new G37X, planning on using the same tires for winter, have had nothing but good luck with them so far, no complaints.

I understand what winter tires do, etc. but in general are people on here replacing their all seasons with winter tires on the "X" models? I've always used the standard all seasons on my all wheel drive cars with no issues whatsoever (I do drive responsibly in bad weather). I can see how an enthusiasts site like this might have a larger percentage of people that would go to the next level and put snow tires on their AWD cars but I wanted to get a feel if most are doing so.

Yeah, winter tires help a lot with braking and handling. I have a G37xS and the Sport MAXX all seasons aren't that great in the snow. I bought a set of wheels and Blizzak LM-25 tires for the winter.

To all those from Canada - I completely understand. I also was aware of the mandatory winter tire setup there.
But for everyone else - how many out there are NOT using winter tires on their G37x's and have you had any issues? I would rather not change my tires out especially since I went out and got an AWD car to avoid my previous headache of driving my RWD car in the other 3 seasons and keeping a FWD car for winters. My wife's cars are always AWD and we've never had issues with all seasons but those were mostly SUV style vehicles, so I'm not sure if there is a difference.

Tire rack's web site only shows 17" packages for the G37xS for some reason.

I live in Toronto and plan on running the factory all-seasons this winter.
In the past, I had all-season tires on my FX35 for four winters. While grip could have been better it still did the job.
Winter tires are not yet mandatory here in Ontario.

I used 18" Blizzaks last winter on my coupe and found the results acceptable but not super great. I also have a FWD Maxima running 16" Yokohama's and it was much better in the snow - used it on the big dump days as I didn't care about others sliding into me.
The AWD should do much better.

I have a G37xS and do not get Snow tires for the winter while up in Detroit. I've always survived pretty well with just all-seasons and AWD on all my cars.
