My G is jealous

I picked up another summer toy earlier today and my G is jealous!
Any other Vert owners that ride?

Nice bike! I got my first mini-bike at age 8 and growing up I raced dirt bikes then had a few crotch rockets in my younger days. I figured it was time to jump on the Harley bandwagon.

BTW - M109 is an awesome machine too!

^^Third one from the top... You got a c14 on your six!

I used to own one a few years back. It was a heavy pig, but very comfortable, lots of power and torque.

That bike is ~#650 wet, maybe more. A fellow rider I ride with on occasion has one too. On some corners, I can't keep up with him.

I think there's a certain level of insanity when you ride the street at fairly aggressive levels. In my mind, i imagine some animal (small or large) being in the roadway as I come around. This keeps me in check.

I thought about doing track days, but in recent times, it's more about exploring new areas than hitting a corner as a fast as possible.

I did track days with NESBA and STT almost every weekend one summer. The track bug bit me hard. Then at the end of the season I added it all up (big mistake). Now I go once or twice a year when they can't fill up the spots and offer it for around $100 with no other fees.

On the streets I take it easy, as humanly possible on a crotch rocket.

I AGREE 100%.
but with me, it was me becoming bored with the street. riding from one gas station to another. i seen all that needs to be seen and got bored with not being able to use my bike for what its meant to do.

i dont even wanna know what you spent on tires alone, let alone track days, gas, parts, etc lol

i go once a month starting april with team pro-motion. thats my budget and honestly- it does me great. i get out of me every riding itch all in one day. i get over 150 miles in of '***** to the wall' style of riding. (thats like riding 1,000 street miles.)

I raced in the dirt growing up but have never had a street bike on the track. Plenty of car experience on the track though. The need for speed is insatiable.
